Youth Leadership

We equip young people with the knowledge, skills, confidence and opportunities to lead — themselves, their communities and the future. We believe young people should not merely be beneficiaries of development, but active leaders and builders of solutions.

In practice

In March 2025, we hosted a 3-day financial literacy workshop for 40 young people in Korogocho with Equity Bank — practical sessions on budgeting, savings and formal banking. Financial literacy and economic empowerment are part of how we grow young leaders.

Investments & Entrepreneurship

We create pathways for young people and communities to understand, pursue and build sustainable economic opportunities. Digital enterprise and green enterprise are opportunities within this work — through partners like Digitoto, SakaTaka and Greencell, income generated is managed and reinvested wisely by the youth.

Featured initiative

Our annual "Panda Mti, Panda Maisha" (Plant a Tree, Plant Life) event brings together community members, leaders and partners for local ecological restoration. In 2026, we planted 120 seedlings at Ngomongo.
